Our aim to is level up hunting so tags and malware strains are easily searchable within hunting. We are inviting select users to come behind the scenes to hunt and build signatures with us. Graduate DevOps Engineer- Canberra

Location
Australia. Must have the legal right to work in Australia. Must be willing to spend 25% of your time in person with one of our leaders. Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra or Melbourne based.
Role Description
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for automating and optimizing our operations and processes, building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments. By working closely with development and operations teams, you will help bridge traditional gaps in these departments through quick feedback loops and continuous deployment.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) systems and methodologies on [specify platforms, e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP].
Automate processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and scalability.
Liaise with development and operations teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks and issues.
Maintain and improve our infrastructure for optimal performance, reliability, and security.
Implement automation tools for server provisioning and application deployment.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability and availability.
Document and refine processes, creating clear and detailed documentation.
Stay up to date with new tools and best practices in DevOps, sharing insights with the team to foster continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Certification in Cloud Computing (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience or knolwedge as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
Proficient with git and git workflows.
Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
Strong background in Linux/Unix administration.
Experience with automation software (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
Proficient with Docker containerization and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
Experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring.
A working understanding of code and script (PHP, Python, Perl, and/or Ruby).
Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
